Chris Pfaff founded Pfaff Technologies in 2020, drawing on decades of leadership in the automotive industry. He is also President and CEO of Pfaff Automotive Partners, one of Canada’s premier luxury dealer groups, which he has led since 1986. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a single family dealership founded by Hans J. Pfaff in 1964 into an organization with more than 1,300 associates across 23 dealership locations and 17 automotive brands, now partnered with Lithia & Driveway.

Doug Wilson
Executive Chairman
Doug Wilson brings over 30 years of senior leadership at Sony, one of the world’s largest consumer electronics companies. As President & COO of Sony of Canada Ltd., he managed $1.5B+ in annual sales and 1,500+ employees across all aspects of wholesale and retail operations, driving growth through sales strategy, marketing, manufacturing partnerships, and supply chain optimization. He subsequently served as Deputy President of Sony North America, integrating operations across a $4B+ business unit, and as President of Sony Logistics of America, optimizing continental supply chain and distribution operations.
Since 2016, Doug has consulted with SMBs and startups, helping scale businesses across sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain. Doug provides governance, strategic direction, and a strong commitment to quality and customer service as Pfaff Technologies grows across aerospace, defense, automotive, marine, and advanced manufacturing markets.
Richard Boake

Richard Boake is Chief Operating Officer of Pfaff Technologies, where he oversees day-to-day operations, manufacturing execution, and business development initiatives. With more than two decades of experience across advanced manufacturing, automotive, and operations leadership, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to scaling high-performance engineering businesses.
An entrepreneur at heart, Richard has successfully grown and scaled multiple multimillion-dollar businesses, bringing firsthand experience in operational leadership, growth strategy, and business execution.
At Pfaff Technologies, Richard plays a key role in the company’s expansion into advanced composites and additive manufacturing, helping ensure the quality, efficiency, and operational discipline required to support automotive, aerospace, and defence partners.
Aaron Merkle
Chief Financial Officer
Aaron is a seasoned finance leader with more than twenty years of experience across industries and organizations ranging from startup ventures to TSX-listed global companies. As CFO of Pfaff Technologies, he helps guide the company’s strategic direction with a focus on sustainable, scalable growth and strong financial discipline.
He began his career in the assurance practice of a Big Four accounting firm working with manufacturing companies across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and consumer products, before moving into industry roles overseeing financial reporting for a publicly traded global infrastructure portfolio and later a Toronto-based global professional services firm.
